Investors? They’re interested; now we need social proof.
Currently we’ve approached a number of angel investors and seed funds. The feedback has been very positive. The next stages are to develop our market (and social) proof. Although everyone “gets it”, we’d like to demonstrate that people are willing to pay for the product – which currently has no competitors (merely alternatives). Then we’ll be in a much stronger position to secure investment and ease any investor worries. This is common when doing something that has never been tried before!
In general, it seems musicians like or want what we’re doing, but seeing as investors aren’t normally avid musicians, they’re finding it harder to envisage the same potential. Moreover, some investors have a curious attitude to timely communication. To be honest, one thing we’ve learnt is that getting investment is not an easy process!
Currently we’re talking to some keen investors and will blog any more news once we hear it.
