MoovFX Echo – Motion Guitar Effects Pedal

We’re proud to present to you a new app – The MoovFX Echo, a motion guitar effects pedal that lets you manipulate an echo effect with the tilt of your guitar! We’re very excited by the prospects of this app, so you should go download the free, but feature limited lite version and give it a go! If you like it, you can grab the full version here.

We’ve made a few demo videos so you can see it in action:

Computer Music – 8/10

We’ve recently been reviewed in Computer Music’s September magazine issue found on Page 91. We’ve been given 8/10 which we’re very happy about! The review suggests we can improve a few things, so we’ll do our best to get an update out sometime this year and make the app even better.

Leonardo would be proud! This is an idea for a logo. What do you think?

Cool MIDI-Moov Renders

It’s been a great week this week – so keep tuned – we have a few surprises on the way!

In the meantime, Dan Cowen – our Design Innovation Guru – has found a cool new piece of software to render the Alpha MIDI-Moov.

Feel free to have a gander :)

Shout out to our friend in Hamburg!

We like to give credit where credit is due and our German cohort, Fabian, certainly deserves some praise.

He has been helping us over the last few weeks with some ideas for promotion, design, branding, graphics and just generally showing a lot of love for the work that we are doing.

He has been involved in some interesting projects – so go and check his website out.  Big up yourself Fabian!

The TangibleFX Alpha MIDI-Moov is here!

It’s the new year and we’re starting it with a bang. We’re proud to present out new Alpha MIDI-Moov prototype.

Here’s a slide-show of our efforts:

And here is the finished MIDI-Moov:

The first prototype cases have arrived!

We have just received our 3D printed cases from CALM in Exeter. Very excited to get these built, painted and in use!

MIDI-Moov Concept Design

We have just sent off some concept design to get 3D printed at the Calm lab at the University of Exeter for the MIDI-Moov housing.  Many thanks to Dan Cowen for his work getting the CAD ready. You can see our sexy new design here:

IndieGoGo (down the pub!)

In true TangibleFX style, we’ve launched our IndieGoGo project… down the pub! Unfortunately, the pubs internet connection was broken… so after a pint we decided to tether one of our phones – it all went smoothly after that (isn’t technology great?) – and yes, it’s going to take a bit more than a dodgy WiFi to make us anti-meetings down the pub!

Anyway… Come show some support and help us evolve musical interaction :) Hell, if you put in 10k we’ll come visit you where-ever you are in the world :D
